Tony de Wolf
In some of the newer works for the exhibition the artist has reworked established art traditions, presenting more classical objects in interesting arrangements or curious angles to intrigue the viewer such as Two Glass Bottles, White Jug and Ceramic Jar. Other works from the exhibition are infused with a light and witty humour such as White Bowl, Egg, Blue Bottles in front of Folded Linen.
We are delighted to welcome Tony de Wolf to Thompson’s Gallery for the first time.
Key is very much a collectors’ artist. His work has been widely exhibited and acclaimed across the world and is in many important collections where it hangs alongside other household names. His work more than holds its own – its honesty and vigour stand out in the best artistic company.
