Thompson's Gallery presents the latest solo exhibition by the unbelievably talented Tony de Wolf, featuring all new hyperreal still life paintings by the Belgian contemporary master.
'Beauty in Detail' whisks viewers along an astonishing and mouth-watering experience, courtesy of the artist's paintbrush. Tony de Wolf trained under Willem Dolphyn for seven years in Antwerp, perfecting his technique in the Flemish still life tradition. The artist is credited with breathing fresh life and perspective into one of fine art's most storied disciplines, dazzling audiences with his precision and adding touches of playfulness when constructing his table setting compositions.
Tony de Wolf has been a popular feature of Thompson's artist roster since his debut solo exhibition over fifteen years ago, and remains a fixture on art fair stands in London and abroad for the gallery. A key element of attraction for viewers new and familiar, is de Wolf's ability to grip attention and invite a closer look –until face to face with the oil itself.
This exhibition runs from 19th October – 6th November 2021 at Thompson's Gallery London, 3 Seymour Place W1H5AZ.
