Mark Rowbotham was born in 1959 and attended the Epsom School of Art and Design where he studied all aspects of art for four years.

 

Mark is principally a figurative artist who is equally at home in oil, watercolour and pastel. In 1990 his work was accepted for the Singer and Friedlander Watercolour Exhibition, and in 1991 he won the prestigious W H Patterson Award. In 1992 he was elected a member of the Pastel Society.

 

Mark has exhibited at the Mall Gallery, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, Royal Institute of Painters in Oil, Royal Portrait Society, New English Art Club, Royal Pastel Society and is a regular exhibitor at Thompson's Galleries.
