Paula Nightingale studied at the Beckenham School of Art and is a graduate of the Royal College of Art. She was awarded several scholarships, one to Spain, one to Germany and one to Paris. Paula continued her studies at the Akademie der Bilkenden Kunst in Munich.

Now an Associate of the Royal College of Art, Paula has exhibited at the Alpine Gallery, New Grafton Gallery and Mercury Gallery in London and Thompson’s Gallery to name but a few. Her work has been accepted for an Open Exhibition at the V&A Museum and in 1989 for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

A versatile artist working in oils with strong colours and a striking emphasis on light and shade, Paula is equally at home with beach scenes, seascapes, figures, interiors or still life. Her work is held in many private collections throughout the world.
