Peregrine Heathcote's exquisite paintings conjure a world of intoxicating glamour and intrigue. His scenes of beautiful women and debonair men set within a historical context remind us of a time when travel was at its pinnacle of luxury. These paintings inspire the viewer to narrate their own stories, and are the result of many unique influences on Peregrine Heathcote throughout his young life.

Born in London in 1973, Heathcote spent his childhood living in both Britain and Dubai, exposing him to the lifestyle of international jetsetters. In London he was the youngest student to ever study art at Heatherly College of Art. At only eight, while other children were on holiday, Peregrine diligently studied figure drawing and painting.

Son of an antique dealer specializing in Militaria , the young artist's imagination flourished in his own home, surrounded by a constant influx of relics and antiques from various points in history. Much of Peregrine's love of vintage cars comes from his paternal grandfather who ran the Rolls Royce 20 Ghost Club. His grandfather passed down this passion and even bequeathed his grandson with a 1938 Arthur Mulliner Rolls Royce.

His maternal grandfather was a test pilot for the Royal Air Force and Peregrine would often stay with him in Wales listening to adventures of flying secret missions over Europe. He would sometimes take his girlfriends into the skies and impress them with acrobatics and the beautiful views of the landscape. As a result of many years flying, his log-books filled with detailed information including the plane types and flight destinations. Heathcote has often used these for inspiration to produce compositions with the same planes and romantically linked couples embarking or returning from various journeys, echoing the ones that filled his imagination from his grandfather's stories.

In 1995 Peregrine graduated from the Florence Academy of Art and since that time his artistic career has flourished. The artist has done various portraits for the English nobility and is collected by the screenplay writer and Oscar winner, Jillian Fellows. The BBC spotlighted Heathcote painting a portrait at the famous London Palladium and finished the program with him unveiling the piece at the Royal Academy. He has exhibited at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the Royal Academy, and Hampton Court and his paintings have been auctioned at Christie's Auction House. Newbury Fine Arts is proud to represent Peregrine Heathcote as the primary source for his artwork in the East Coast of the United States.
