Chris Daynes was born at Hove in 1946, educated in Norfolk, and is a Fine Art graduate from Leeds College of Art. He explores our coastal landscape, waterways and estuaries, landscape and gardens, as well as the London city and riverscape, recording first hand the interaction of the man-made and the natural world. He paints entirely on site the year round in all weathers, always a challenging and sometimes uncomfortable experience, but never dull! His paintings have been seen in the following exhibitions:
