David Ross Warrillow (born 1956) studied at Glasgow School of Art from 1975/79 and has since taught in Glasgow. Since 1989 he has been painting full-time and his work is heavily influenced by Spanish Still Life Masters of the seventeenth century. He has had successful one-man shows in Glasgow, New York and Somerset and has taken part in many mixed exhibitions in Glasgow, London, Bath and the USA. He is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts, the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Academy (London)

He has many paintings in private collections in Britain and Germany as well as in several corporate collections including Robert Fleming Holdings.
