Combining working in the community and bringing up three children, Irene McCann returned to painting and recently studied under the tutorage of Scottish contemporary artist Liz Knox.
Irene McCann's paintings are very motivated by colour, and are predominantly oil on canvas with elements of mixed media, experimenting with inks, chalks, crayon and collage to create texture.
Irene holds a Diploma in Graphic Design and works from her studio just outside Glasgow. Irene's work is in the public collection of East Renfrewshire Council, Smith and Williamson Solicitors and Nova Pane Group Manchester as well as many private collections.
