Graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1971.
Studied drawing and painting under Sir Robin Philipson and David Mitchie.
Elected Artist member of Glasgow Art Club, Paisley Art Institute, Glasgow Society of Women Artists and elected professional member of Visual Arts Scotland.
