Ronald Ossary Dunlop was born in Dublin. Studied at Manchester School of Art, then Wimbledon School of Art and in Paris. Became a prolific exhibitor, venues including the RA, NEAC, Leceister and Redfren Galleries, Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts, Royal Scottish Academy and others. Held his first solo exhibition at the Redfern Gallery in 1928. In 1923 Dunlop founded the Emotionist Group of writers and artists. Dunlop's work is in a number of public art galleries, including the Tate Galery, Royal Academy and Worcester City Art Gallery.
