Thompson's Gallery London are proud to introduce audiences to the enticing, vivid landscapes of South African oil painter Jaco Roux. Jaco's incredible command of palette and texture transport viewers to the warmth of South Africa's natural expanse.
Roux completed a BA Fine Arts (Hons) degree from the University of Pretoria in 1984, and the following year received a HED diploma in education. In 1996 Roux was chosen to represent South Africa in the Neuchatel Arts Exposition in Switzerland.
Jaco divides his time between farming Subtropical Crops in Louis Trichardt and painting landscapes of the Limpopo Province. He exhibits regularly in SA, the UK, and wider Europe.
